Brian Hsu ’08AD appointed to piano faculty at Loyola University

Hsu is Assistant Professor of Piano Performance

BrianBrian Hsu ’08AD joins the faculty of Loyola University New Orleans this fall as Assistant Professor of Piano Performance.

Hsu has performed throughout the world, and won awards in numerous competitions such as the Juilliard Concerto Competition and the Philadelphia Orchestra Concerto Competition. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from The Juilliard School, his Artist Diploma from Yale University, and his Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Michigan.

Recently, Brian Hsu participated in the world premiere of Paul Schoenfeld’s Piano Quintet with members of the Pro Arte Quartet and recorded the piece for Albany Records. Their CD is set for release later this year on Albany Records.
