Fernando Buide '13DMA wins Spanish Aeos-BBVA composition prize

Composer Fernando Buide '09 MMA, '13 DMA was awarded the seventh edition of the Aeos-BBVA composition prize for his piece “Fragmentos del Satiricón.”

The award includes a cash prize and the performance of the work by numerous professional orchestras in Spain in the 2014–15 and 2015–16 seasons. The prize is given by the Spanish Association of Symphony Orchestras (AEOS) and the BBVA Foundation. 

Fernando Buide is currently a professor of composition and music theory at the Conservatorio Superior de Música da Coruña, Spain.
