Career Strategies and YEI offer workshop Oct. 21
The YSM Office of Career Strategies is partnering with the Yale Entrepreneurial Institute to help budding entrepreneurs at Yale learn how to start new ventures.
In a workshop next Wednesday, October 21, experienced music entrepreneurs will go through the process of how to create a new venture using the “design” process of business formation.
This hands-on workshop will be led by Margaret Lee ’14, Community Manager at the Yale Entrepreneurial Institute, along with two co-leaders, Sean Killary and Melissa Mulligan.
Killary is C.E.O. of So.I.Heard House of Music, which offers guided and tracked music lessons in a fun, high-tech environment. Mulligan is the owner of Melissa Mulligan Vocal Studio, where she teaches students around the country and helps others set up their own vocal businesses.
Students will have the opportunity to ask questions as well as participate in a hands-on activity to get the feel for business formation using the design process.
