2009-10 Application Guidelines

Eligibility

• All School of Music alumni are eligible, with preference given to those who are engaged in full-time music occupations.
• Recipients of alumniVentures grants cannot reapply until four years after the award year.
• alumniVentures Committee members cannot apply for grants until five years following their Committee membership.

Proposals

• The sole criteria is “to advance the cause of music.”
• Proposals must not exceed two pages in length.
  
  

Dates

• Proposals must be submitted by October 30, 2009, to:

• Grants will be awarded by November 30, 2009.
• Funding will be mailed to recipients by December 20, 2009.
• Recipients must file a project report by August 1, 2010.

alumniVentures Committee

• All School of Music alumni are eligible, with preference given to those who are engaged in full-time music occupations.
• This year the alumniVentures Committee will be chaired by Sarita Kwok (’05 MMA, ’06 AD, ’09 DMA), and the members are as follows: Melvin Chen (’91 BS), Vincent Oneppo (’73 MM), Terri Sundberg (’86, MM), and Truett Hollis (’55 BM).
