All-day passes, offering admission to all events, are $45, $25 for students.

Concert tickets are $13 each, $8 for students. Talks and workshops are $5 each, free with student ID (subject to availability).

Guitar Extravaganza 2018:
Celebrating Leo Brouwer

The tenth Yale Guitar Extravaganza will take place Saturday, February 17, 2018. YSM’s biennial celebration of guitar performance and pedagogy honors legendary virtuoso and composer Leo Brouwer, who makes a rare visit to the United States, from his native Cuba, for this special occasion. The daylong event features a master class, talk, Q&A session, tribute concert, and more.

About Leo Brouwer

Born in Havana in 1939, Leo Brouwer has explored and redefined the possibilities of guitar performance and pedagogy. While an injury decades ago curtailed his performing career, he remains an iconic figure around the world. Equally revered as a teacher and composer, Brouwer is a living legend who continues to inspire countless artists and aficionados.
