Concert Series

New Music New Haven

Throughout its history, the composition program has been one of the School of Music’s strongest assets. The New Music New Haven series showcases the talented young composers studying at the School as well as the elite faculty who nurture them. Most concerts present a work by a featured faculty or guest comp oser in addition to student works.

New Music New Haven offers a broad variety, from solo and chamber works to an annual Philharmonia concert to pieces involving electronics and visual elements. All concerts on the series are free and open to the public.
