About our Ensembles

The Yale School of Music offers continual opportunities for collaborative performance, from chamber music to full orchestras. The foremost School of Music ensemble is the Philharmonia Orchestra of Yale, which plays several concerts per year in addition to the annual opera production.

Ensembles run by individual studios include the Yale Cellos and the Yale Percussion Group. Choral activities take place under the auspices of the Institute of Sacred Music. Chamber groups and coachings are organized through the department of Chamber Music.
