Frank Martignetti currently serves as Artistic Director of the Mystic River Chorale, Mystic, Connecticut; Director of Choral Activities at the University of Bridgeport, Bridgeport, Connecticut; is a member of the music faculty in the New Haven Public Schools; and is an active church musician. Mr. Martignetti is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and Eastman School of Music. |

Rachel Homberg 2008 Violin Australia Chamber Music Session Tailem Quartet rachi1409@hotmail.com Rachel Homberg studied at the Elder Conservatorium in Adelaide, the Australian National Academy of Music and the University of Melbourne, obtaining her Master in Music Performance in 2006.

Merewyn Bramble 2008 Viola Australia Chamber Music Session Tailem Quartet merewynbramble@hotmail.com Merewyn studied violin and viola with William Hennessy and Caroline Henbest. She received her Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Melbourne and graduated with Honours in Performance. This was directly followed by a Master of Music Performance at the same institution. Off campus Merewyn plays with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra, has been an emerging artist with the Australian Chamber Orchestra and often ventures interstate or overseas for projects with the Australian Youth Orchestra and the Tailem Quartet. When not playing, Merewyn likes to write and bases her characters on musicians she meets around the world. She also abhors boring biographies and will gladly give hers some spice at a later date. | |

Boris Allakhverdyan 2008 Clarinet Russia Chamber Music Session ballakhverdyan@yahoo.com www.primatrio.com Born in Baku, Azerbaijan, of Armenian descent, Boris Allakhverdyan started taking clarinet lessons from his father at the age of 9, shortly after his family moved to Russia. He graduated from the Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory with a Bachelor of Music degree with honors in 2006. Boris graduated from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music with an Artist Diploma degree in 2008. Currently, he is pursuing his Master of Music degree at the Cleveland Institute of Music, studying with Franklin Cohen. His previous teachers include Richard Hawkins, Rafael Bagdasarian and Valery Allakhverdyan.
Boris’s ensemble the Prima Trio won the Grand Prize and the Gold Medal at the prestigious 2007 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition. They are under the professional management of Lisa Sapinkopf Artists and are performing concerts throughout the United States and Europe. The Prima Trio was featured on WCLV Radio’s Around Noon with Dee Perry, as well as on classical station WKCU. A first prize winner of the Hellam Competition, the Tuesday Musical Competition and the Oberlin Concerto Competition, Mr. Allakhverdyan has appeared as a soloist with the Springfield Symphony Orchestra, the Kremlin Chamber Orchestra and the Oberlin Chamber Orchestra. He has participated in the Lucerne Festival Academy (under the direction of Pierre Boulez), the Mecklenburg-Vorpommen Festival in Germany, the Emilia Romagna Music Festival in Italy and the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival (Yale Summer School of Music). Since March 2007 he has held the second clarinet position with the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra (Youngstown, Ohio). In 2008 he was appointed Assistant Principal and E-flat clarinet for the Colorado Music Festival Orchestra, under the direction of Michael Christie. Mr. Allakhverdyan has performed as a soloist and with orchestras in Russia, Germany, Denmark, Venezuela, Italy, Switzerland and the United States of America. | |

Soran Lee 2008 Violin South Korea Chamber Music Session soranvn@gmail.com Korean violinist Soran Lee began studying the violin at the age of four. She earned her Bachelor of Music degree from Seoul National University, where she studied with Min Kim and Ju-Young Baek, and her Master of Music degree from Yale School of Music, studying under Syoko Aki and the Tokyo String Quartet. Now based in the United States, Soran commenced her studies as a Doctor of Musical Arts candidate at the State University of New York in Stony Brook with Soovin Kim, Pamela Frank and the Emerson String Quartet.
Ms. Lee was a major prize winner in key national competitions in Korea throughout her undergraduate career: Korea Broadcasting System (KBS), Korean Chamber Ensemble, City of Pusan and Dong-A Newspaper, to name a few. Most recently, she won Yale School of Music's chamber music competition with guitarist Simon Powis, and has been awarded the opportunity to perform with internationally renowned musicians. Winning major competitions has given Ms. Lee many opportunities to reach a broader audience. In 2006, she toured with the KBS Orchestra as the winner of their annual competition – these performances were televised nationally. In 2007, Ms Lee's duo recital with pianist Adam Bloniarz was broadcasted on Radio Suisse Romande in Switzerland. She has performed in major venues throughout Korea as soloist with Korean Symphony Orchestra, Pusan Philharmonic, Suwon Philharmonic, Korean Chamber Ensemble and Jewel of Korea Ensemble. She has also been a member of the Korean Chamber Ensemble. Outside of Korea, Ms. Lee is in demand internationally as concerto soloist, chamber musician, and recitalist. She has performed in Japan, Germany, France, Poland, Switzerland and Czech Republic, and has been invited to perform at such summer music festivals as Academie de Musique Lausanne Sonates (Switzerland), Moulin d'And Musique (France), Ost-West Musik (Austria), Weimarer Master Kurs and the Weinheim (Germany) festivals. | |
