If you want to connect to the Yale network from off campus, all you need is your netID. Log in to the Yale Software Library and download VPN - Cisco Client software. Follow the instructions for installing the software. Open the application and enter your netID and password when prompted to connect.
To connect to the free wireless network on the Yale campus, all you need to do is register your machine. Most places on campus have wireless services available: Leigh Hall, Sprague Hall, 320 Temple, HGS, and Bass Library
The Yale Software Library has many useful programs and applications for download. Some are freeware while others offer educational discounts.
