World-renowned composer speaks at Stetson Oct. 18

The Stetson University School of Music Composition Program will welcome world-renowned composer and teacher Martin Bresnick as a guest lecturer at the Composition Forum at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, in Presser Hall, Room 132, at 419 N. Woodland Blvd. Admission is free and open to the public.

Bresnick's compositions, from symphonic and chamber music to film scores and computer music, are performed across the globe. Currently, he is professor of composition and the coordinator of the Composition Department at the Yale School of Music, where he joined the faculty in 1981.
