Yale School of Music Students Perform at Symphony Space

Krzysztof_Penderecki_webIn partnership with WQXR and the Polish Cultural Institute of New York, Symphony Space’s In the Salon series presents an interview with Krzysztof Penderecki, “…Poland’s greatest living composer” (The Guardian). Mr. Penderecki will grace the Symphony Space stage in a live broadcast with WQXR’s Helga Davis. The event will take place on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 7:30 pm.

Yale School of Music students Eric Anderson, clarinet; Nathan Lesser, violin; Colin Brookes, viola; and Alan Ohkubo, cello, will perform a clarinet quartet after intermission and before the interview with Mr. Penderecki.

In New Haven, Krzysztof Penderecki will guest conduct the Philharmonia Orchestra of Yale on Friday, November 1, 2013 at 8 pm. The concert will take place in Woolsey Hall (500 College St., corner of College and Grove). Admission is free. MORE INFO
