ASO composer-in-residence returns with harp in hand to perform with concertmaster, friends

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama -- Alabama Symphony's Sound Investment composer in residence Hannah Lash returns Tuesday, Jan. 28, not only as a composer but as a harpist.

Lash's “Folksongs” (2010) for flute, percussion and harp, is the centerpiece for “Contemporary Visions,” the next installment of ASO's Concertmaster and Friends series. It starts at 7:30 p.m. in Brock Recital Hall on the Samford University campus.
