Pianist Boris Berman performs late Brahms March 26


The Horowitz Piano Series at the Yale School of Music presents a recital by the pianist Boris Berman on Wednesday, March 26 at 8 pm. Berman, acclaimed for both virtuosity and musicality, will perform late piano pieces by Johannes Brahms.

The concert will begin with the Seven Fantasias, Op. 116. Mr. Berman will then perform Three Intermezzos, Op. 117 and Six Pieces for Piano, Op 118. The concert will conclude with Four Piano Pieces, Op. 119. These late pieces represent the culmination of Brahms’ romanticism. MORE
