Our new building is home to many studios and practice rooms. In addition to many large classrooms that can double as rehearsal spaces, the ACMA has a beautiful student lounge where students gather to eat and chat with friends.

Quinnipiack Club: 203 562-3147. Address: 221 Church Street, New Haven, CT 06510. Rates range from $99/night for a room with 2 twin beds, $129 for a single queen room, or $140/night for a suite (plus 15% tax). Call the hotel directly to get the Yale rate or send an email.

Courtyard by Marriott: 203 777-6221 or (203) 654-2405. Students may also make a reservation by email. Address: 30 Whalley Avenue, New Haven, CT 06511. Rate is $158/night plus 15% tax.

Getting to Yale

Train travel: Click here for a direct link to Metro North schedule (from New York City).

From Union Station to campus. Once you reach Union Station, we strongly encourage you to take a taxi to campus. There is a taxi stand right outside the station and there are always taxis available. A taxi will cost $8-$10. There are also free Yale shuttles from Union Station to campus that run every 20-30 minutes (you will want to get off at the College Street stop). To return to Union Station after your audition, you may take a Yale shuttle (the RED LINE) or you can call a taxi (Metro Taxi phone: 203-777-7777). Please do not walk from the train station.
