Dear students,

As we begin the fall semester, it is my privilege to announce the establishment of the YSM Student Relief Fund. This fund is designed to provide supplemental financial support to students who are experiencing temporary hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Student Relief Fund will provide one-time grants to eligible students who apply with documented emergency expenses such as:

  • Medical, mental-health, or dental bills
  • Child- or family-care costs
  • Temporary housing costs
  • Emergency travel costs

Additional eligibility guidelines and details, as well as the application link, are located on ArtsVision. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis until the funds are exhausted.

While we understand that we will not be able to meet the full need of each applicant, it is my hope that these grants will provide some much-needed relief during these challenging times.
