Four YSM graduates will become Fellows of The Academy/Ensemble ACJW, a program of Carnegie Hall, Juilliard, and the Weill Institute of Music in partnership with the New York City Department of Education.
This two-year fellowship is one of the leading teaching artist training programs in the country and is extremely competitive.
Garrett Arney ’14AD, percussion; Phillip Browne ’14MM, horn; Jean Laurenz ’13MM, ’14AD, trumpet; and Michael Zuber ’14MM, bassoon, will join The Academy/Ensemble ACJW this fall.
In addition, first-year trumpet student Carl Stanley won one of the spots in the prestigious President’s Public Service Fellowship. MORE
