Housing and Meals
Fellows are housed with families in the Norfolk community. The tradition of host families began in the earliest days of the Yale Summer School of Music and is reflective of the close relationship the School has with the town.
The dining hall provides excellent and diverse meals in a relaxed atmosphere where fellows, Festival artists, and staff enjoy time together. Special dietary needs will be accommodated. All fellows are required to participate in the housing and meal plans.
Festival Artist Performances + Emerging Artist Showcase
The Norfolk Chamber Music Festival concerts on Friday and Saturday evenings feature Festival artists and fellows. Fellows also have ample opportunity to perform on the Emerging Artist Showcase series, which offers concerts multiple times per week throughout the summer. All fellows receive free admission to all performances, and recordings are available.
