Strategic Goals

Through a highly inclusive process that solicited the thoughts and hopes of all stakeholders in the
School’s success, our community identified three key priorities that will help define our planning for the next decade.

Professional Readiness

The School of Music will focus on preparing students as outstanding artists and versatile professionals by combining top-level classical training with essential career skills — including communication, marketing, financial literacy, strategic planning, technology, and relationship building. The School will also broaden students’ spectrum of professional opportunities, encouraging them to explore careers in education, entrepreneurship, arts leadership, and other fields.
